The Design Process

Curious about our custom design process? Here’s what to expect during our collaboration to create the perfect cover for your book.

Step 1

We will send you a design brief in which you can fill the details needed for the designer to formulate a plan that will best suit your needs. We will encourage you to fill out the design brief and return it with ample time before the booked timeslot. This ensures that any additional information the designer needs will be communicated without taking up any time from your slot.

Step 2

If there are no additional enquiries, the designer will send over a demo in 7-10 days. This will be a rough concept demo to show you the basic composition and the overall color palette that will be used. If you are not satisfied with the demo, the designer will rework it and send new ones. Once you are content with the demo, we will move on to the final rendering. Please note that once the demo is approved to be made final, the concept/models/background etc. cannot be changed.

Step 3

The final version will be available in five business days. Once the final version is completed, very minor changes like changing eye color can be done. The closing invoice will be sent as soon as you approve the final version. Upon payment, the final files of the cover will be sent in a zip format.

Step 4

You can also request for the title as PNG if required and it will be provided free of charge.

Step 5

The first cover of a series usually requires more time as it is sets the branding; the sequels will not require as much.
